Thanks, friends And on to the completed model pictures...

And there it is! It is one of those assemblies that are more pleasing “after” than “during”. As I stated several times along the way, part of the struggle could be avoided if some things were conceived differently. This is no more than a personal view but I’d never recommend this kit for a beginner. For the others, certainly yes! It was hard but it was worth all the trouble.
The model is impressive and the large size helps. The stark contrast between the warm wall colors and the dark roofs is very much to my taste. Definitely, my next shop visit to GPM (not in the immediate future…) must include the Wroclaw and Lodz cathedrals.
Regarding the pictures, I have general views, side views and a top view. The transparencies go almost unnoticed except, perhaps, on some side views. Having the model in front of you, it is different and more pleasing. By moving the point of view, the transparencies become immediately apparent. The open structure surely helps in this respect and is well worth the extra work.
In short, if you are up for a challenging model, go for it!

For the last picture, I put a lamp below the model. The effect might be better with a less concentrated lighting. Anyway, I hope you get the idea...
