Latest Progress. 1:240 scale model of Ely Cathedral
In another thread, ( search with the words Ely Cathedral ) I showed the design stages of this new model and promised an up date. Here it is. All has gone to plan so far. My next step will be to draw the transepts and the nave, a job I have reserved for next week. I hope you like it so far.

Beautiful work sir. The window arches are simply gorgeous. You have quite the eye for detail, I must say.

Latest on Ely
I have just finished designing the Lady Chapel and the North Transept for the Ely Cathedral model-kit. The photograph of the blank, test model shows the context for the latest additions. I have to do a watercolour demo next Tuesday for Baginton Art group so I need to brush up my skills there for the time being. After that, I shall push on with the nave and lower stages of the west tower. It's beginning to look a little like the ship of the Fens now.

Nave completed
I have just noticed that the nave aisle windows and the north transept aisle windows are at different heights; this is not correct and so I shall have to remedy the problem. Otherwise, progress is good.
