Hello everybody ,

Stick parts 42 to 44 to the rock.
Now the two segments are connected.
Parts 51 + 52 fit together again perfectly, it is really fun to build this extreme pass exact castle.
The outer wall is very good on the mountain!
With part 68, the wall ring is cut.
Since the rocks are still treated, I use textile reinforcements to harden them.

best regards

Hello !

The whole ruin is now glued to a 3 mm thick fin cardboard.
The span scaffold for the mountain under the castle is also made of 3 mm fin cardboard. Kunigunde is clearly satisfied!
Now glue the ruin. The access route in shell construction.
Now go the smooth rock to the substance, all the rocks and the substructure are clad with crumpled paper and dilute glue.
Also in the courtyard there is something rocky.
The whole mountain is now packed a'la Christo. As a basic color I use AquaColor of Revell, the stinks not so.

regards

Hello everybody

But now it's time for the final sprint .............

The second color is dark gray, the third color is gray.

After the rock are finished color the wooden staircase is built up to the tower.
This staircase is a daring construction!
In the meantime, we are now cycling again, now with sunshine and pleasant 12 ° ...
... that is why the grass begins to sprout in the mountain.
There it stands now the ruin Trosky which I have still equipped with trees and shrubs.
Summa Summarum an absolutely recommendable building arch from the house Z-art. There is nothing to complain about at all.
It is a real pleasure to build this ruin.
Many thanks to the Z-art team for the splendid arch, as you are already looking forward to Z-art.

Best regards
Kurt

Marvelous work on the rock surfaces there Kurt. The trouble is it's so good and realistic that it shows up the ruined walls as being just toooo square to be realistic. I wish I knew what to suggest that can be done about this, other than it needs to be attacked somewhat to break up the pristine straight edges.

It is a pet hate of mine, in that so many excellent models of old buildings are depicted as if they are newly built, whereas a great deal of their character is in the way they have weathered and warped over time. Again, such twisting and sagging is very hard to achieve, especially in paper, but I do like to see it attempted.

Example ... Mauther's hut as designed ...

And given a once over ... Roof sagged a little and broken edges to tiles. Double skinned plaster to give the broken bits depth, and more 3D effect to windows and door frame.

Makes a difference, don't you think?
