Those are two great-looking fireplaces. Like them both.

Have been on a little holiday break and got back to finalize the small huts variations.

Have a look at the colors (brown, red and fantasy-green in saturated and desaturated version)

And also see the the "shading" variations. Top row is with dirt and from left to right with increasing lightness layers.

The 36 possible combinations should allow for a versatile mix of huts in the village!

Very nice. And a creative builder could combine different colors,
effects to simulate repairs, or variations during building.

The final stages ... started to build a little ground section with the tiles I designed and put set up a little village. And invited the dwarves to "visit" the goblins

Also tried this POV and digitally added some background

I want to add a couple of minor decoration elements but I am almost done!

The village is growing! The savanna/veldt scene is very good looking.

That makes an attractive game set. Photo background edit creates a nice context.

Yes, I made the composite shot to establish the landscape which I see for the ground tiles and found this great background on a wiki site for the Serengeti.

I started making the ground tiles because I love all the dioramas I see here. It just makes a model look so much better!

Once this is done I am very excited to start working on the bigger huts :-)

I have added a small but much requested update: the mammoth tusks!

Due to the construction I had a nasty white cut edge on the outside so I made an effort to color it with markers. And I went a little crazy :-) I even drew the shadows of the ropes! But it actually did not take much time and now the hut looks to much better!!!

Got the tusks upgrade with no problems. That is a good addition.

The small huts pdf has some nice layers available. The clan symbols/Door Ornaments are a nice touch.
