Prague Castle - 1:325

Spent about six months working on this model between last year and beginning of this year. Enlarged the 1:450 scale to approximately 1:325.
Model turned out to be big - 78" x 42" x 16". It's split in 2 parts for transportation and photos will show this.

Challenging model to build at times, but the end result was very satisfying.
Had to use a lot of reinforcing underneath to make it stable.

Very good. Makes you kind of want to wander around in the real thing and check out all of the nooks and crannies.

Congratulations on a magnificent build. You have a lot more patience than I do. I did make St. Vitus which is a nice model of a beautiful church. Doug, we did wander around in the "real thing". It is well worth the visit

Brings back some fond memories. I was always complaining about how dark the cathedrals were, but that chapel in there, though dark, was absolutely beautiful.

I doubt I would ever have the stamina to complete this. Congratulations on finishing and finishing well

Thanks everyone. Prague is a place on my bucket list. Still want that river cruise from Amsterdam to Budapest with a side trip to Prague.

Wonderful piece of work. You can almost imagine little figures walking around it. Six months of your time very well spent.

Fred,

I can only imagine tackling a project as large and complex as this. Well done!
