Chapel of tr. Margaret in Kopcany / Slowakia - 1:120 - SVAP

A friend to all friends of the model building!

As the construction of my Mercedes is somewhat longer, I will start a small intermediate project.

After our visit to Trnava / Slovakia, I have of course brought some handicrafts with home.
From SVAP Verlag there are some architectural models mainly from the city of Trnava.

I cut today the minibuses of the chapel to the hl. Margarete of Antioch from the ninth century.
The 26 parts are all on half an A4 sheet, the graphics are very nice.

So then ..................

Title sheet with cleanly built model
The 26 parts on a half A4 sheet
At the beginning, put the base plate on 3 millimeters of cardboard.
In the windows, there are three possibilities of detailing, simply without cut-out or only deposit, as well as the fine variant with window frame.
After installation of the window and the entrance door, the prepared 0.9 mm fin cardboard is glued in place.
Thus stands the first wall,
kind regards

Hello everybody

The second wall, parts 5 to 7. Upon request, now provide an accurate guide regarding windows and reinforcements.
After cutting, cutting and folding the windows are cut out. Transfer the windows to the 0.9 mm Finn cardboard ...

... and 1 mm larger. The window frames are scratched and pre-folded ...

... and glue together. Spread the wall around the window cutout with glue and place it on the window frame from above.

Kind regards
Kurt

Hello !
Now, the cardboard should fit exactly, but ATTENTION, not yet glue, only when the wall part is connected to the flaps of the adjacent wall parts. The four parts are now ready for assembly. Only now I stick the reinforcement ...
... so I covered the flaps. The last reinforcement part is then glued in from above.
Thus the walls are very stable

Best regards

Hello, it gent in the final,

The parts for the apse are prepared, and as already known assembled.
Glue the main roof with reinforcements for the first half and fit the reinforcement.
Please note that the roof is NOT symmetrical!
Close the roof and stick the cardboard.
The small chapel is finished with the roof of the apse after five hours of construction time.
Conclusion :
An absolutely flawless building arch with beautiful graphics. Since you get really fancy for more SVAP bows,
Of which there is enough.

Gallery pictures will follow

regards
Kurt

A very informative thread. Photo documentation of your technique is a great help.
