Maria Hilf--1:160

This is a church in partial ruins offered by www.wediul.de

It is described as follows: "Maria Hilf - a place of pilgrimage never quite abandoned...In 1811 the pilgrimage was officially abolished, the church was closed ... From the former pilgrimage church, the ground plan with wall fragments has been preserved as an impressive monument. The chancel was redone and the tower was renovated. Religious events take place from time to time."

The model is nicely done...and reminds me of certain places I visited in Great Britain. Being a church in ruins allows for some mistakes that might actually add to model.

I intentionally took the photos with sunlight coming through the model strictly for atmosphere.

I thought about building it, but decided there were more parts in a ruin than a pristine building. Nicely done

Looks good. There are a lot of interesting models of buildings offered from that site.
