Well done Thomas!

You must be delighted - every modellers dream is to have their better works somewhere where they are on display for a wider audience, and you have achieved all of that!

Pity it's too far away for me to visit!

Congratulations! I think this is absolutely fantastic! I can remember (as a child) looking at detailed models in brass and wood in museums that inspired me to take up model building. As you mentioned, maybe this will spur an interest in paper model building here in the USA. Enjoy the spotlight; you deserve it!

Bravo, Tom! My heartiest congratulations. I guess I'll have to add the Catholic Museum to my must-see list of Washington attractions.

Congratulations. Beautifully built models worthy of a permanent display. More people may become inspired to join this hobby.

One thing I liked a lot was the display of the work-in-progress along with the tools of the trade.
That also gives an invaluable insight to the final product, and to the hobby.

I just visited the May Gallery at Catholic University and saw the exhibit of Thomas' models. It was nice to see his models displayed in a museum like setting. The type of setting they certainly deserve. I have included photos I took today.

I wish to thank all of you who have written such wonderful notes about this exhibit. I have heard from many new friends. I do feel that it is a great honor for paper models as well as for a paper modeler builder. CUA staff has done a wonderful job with the display which does give it a beautiful setting.

ASTROBOY -Thanks so much for visiting, your comments and your photos. I am glad that you live close enough to visit.

You and others who live close (or maybe not so close) are invited to the reception for the show this Thursday, Oct. 26th 5:30-7:00 at the library at UCA.

You also live close enough to Sterling, Va. to visit the 20th annual International Paper Modelers Convention on Nov. 4th at the Hampton Inn-Dulles Airport -2270 Holiday Park in Sterling. We would love to see you. It also is a great show with a wonderful variety of paper models.
