Thanks guys! I managed to print the last roof not at 100% so had to redo it. But I incorporated all the changes I wanted to make and also completed the inner roof levels.

Wanted to show like this as you can see all the texture details better. Once it's assembled you have to look closer to see it all :-)

A last WIP pic before I take a break next week to recharge the batteries. Then I have to add the gong bar on the side and weathering and should start instructions very soon!

After a week of peace and quiet I am back to work on the bells. I have added the lotus ornament and also made a simple, cylindrical version of the bell if you want to save time with the build. Once mounted inside the tower it still looks great, as you don't see the that much of it anyway.

The simple version inside the tower ...

Next I need to work on the gong bar and then add some weathering.

I have started adding the weathering layers. I decided to make two layers. One for the sun weathering, where the wood gets lighter and has a more grey, desaturated look. And one for moss. So you can choose what will fit better. This build of the framework has both layers active.

I have changed the roof mount ...

... so I can also use the roof from the Samurai Castle set (here the blue version).

And finally I have completed the weathering of the roof. I have also added a new lichen layer!

Front detail

Now I only need the gong bar and then I want to make a small mount for the bell (so that it does not fall off so easy)

Thank you Elliot. I have tried hard to get the right look for the mossy look. I think it looks so much better weather beaten.

These last days I have added the mount for the bell (it was falling off the framework all the time :-) ) and then I also finished the bell striking bar. Here I have assembled it with some sowing thread. But I also made have a paper version.
