Small castles from Spain

Hi all,

on this webpage for children I found six nice little castles.

Printed on a A4 paper they give simple, but funny looking castles in different styles. Here some pictures from the first.

Regards
Dieter

Hi all,

now the third one. It was the last one, I built.
Maybe, one or two will follow in future.

Size of the models is a little smaller than 10 cm.

Regards
Dieter

Clean constructions. They present well for simple models. I've built the first one, too. A nice rainy day diversion.

Beautiful little castles.
They will make fine terrain for small scale war games.

I've built two of these little castles as well. They are really sweet aren't they?

Although there are six available for download I'm pretty sure Edivas published eight in total as the sheets are labelled Lamina 1, 2, 4, 6, 7 and 8. Have searched for numbers 3 and 5 but have had no luck so far. But I did find a model of Montseny Castle, which is larger and seems to be of a similar vintage and/or designer judging by the artwork and colouring:

Nice little castles Dieter!
Must be a joy to build, as they're a joy to see finished

Edivas edited several kinds of models for small children.
There's an auction site in Spain where people sell them:

The beautiful #3:
https://www.todocoleccion.net/colecc...na-3~x33260920

The elusive #5:
https://www.todocoleccion.net/colecc...na-5~x51182377

There was at least a #9 castle:
https://www.todocoleccion.net/colecc...na-9~x87723860

They also published a lot of small cut-out dress dolls:
https://www.todocoleccion.net/colecc...-109~x49842991

Some of the doll sets were published in booklet format of 10 each, or are found in auction sites in lots of 10. And they released at least 200 doll sheets.

I haven't seen more than 9 of the castles. So there may (or may not) be a #10 too. They must date to the mid-1980s probably.

Regards.

These little castles, and others like them, are all over Pinterest. I have been collecting them but haven't made any yet. Nice to see some of them made up. You tempt me to start building them, but the 'To do' pile is massive with other bigger interests.

Thank you for that information, Rubenandress77. I wonder if someone will get round to publishing them in a downloadable and buildable form? That would be cool.

And JohnM, I don't seem to be able to view more than one picture (and sometimes not even that) on Pinterest before a screen sized message appears nagging me to open an account, which seems a bit aggressive. Is there a way round this?
