Hello Seadave,

You were very brave to have a go at this model. I've got both versions of the kit as well, and every so often I open one up to look at the beautifully produced parts... and put them away again.

You've done a terrific job on it. What a star!

I'll be honest, I came very close to putting it in the trash at one point. But then, you walk away and come back the next day and things don't look so bad. I was lucky that the piece that I had glued together wrong, I was able to pull apart without too much damage. It was a main part of the first tower. If not it would have been bye bye model.

I know what you mean. I have looked at starting this quite a few times and put it away again. The finished model is however worth all the effort.

A few years ago I saw a thread on a forum (can't remember which one) where someone burned the model and said it was a fitting end. Photos were impressive. I can see where someone could end up that way!
