Unseen University

Completed this one about 4 months ago. Just some photos of the finished model. Didn't take any photos during the build.

Beautiful model Fred! Makes me want to read the Discworld(?) series.

Ah Terry Pratchett... there will never be another one like him!
He and his wonderful characters are greatly missed.

The Discworld stories were great fun - a very British sense of humour. Unfortunately, the Unseen University book is now very rare.

Yeah, AlanG has a thread on kartonbau.de about making the recessed spiral staircase.

That's was one of the first decent paper models I made and the model that really got me started paper modelling.

I threw it out some months back.

When I first made it I put the completed models away in a box, and opened it to put another part in, only to discover that it had been eaten by insects!

At that stage I lost heart and stopped making it. And it got put aside for years.

Strange thing is I have never had anything eaten before or since. Often wondered if it was something in the paper......
