Thanks Guys,
I appreciate the kind words. I am in the process of tooling and supplying up for the rail road project and having these little building kits to work over while accumulating the rest of the stuff required to do the deed definitely gets my creative juices going. Adding little extras to them is also a fun way to put them into a custom class over what you can buy in the hobby shop. Don't worry Jim, when I start the rail road layout, each of the buildings will get an expansion of the landscaping to tie them into the overall story. I am looking forward to seeing just how far I can go tinkering at the project. I would love to see some pictures of your N and Z scale layouts, they must have been excellent judging from your modeling skills and great looking ships.

Could you explain to me what you meant by the layering process? "I also triple layered the parts to give things a bit more depth than just a single printed copy would allow." I haven't heard that term before. But whatever it is, it sure makes the model look good.

Aww maan, I wanna live there! If only I wasn't so darn big. Plus I'm not really a captain. Wonderful job you did there. The layering, the telescope, not to mention the shrubberies really make the model pop. I've never tried a FG building model. They look like fun. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the village.
