How do I find Thomas? If this is on a CD, can someone burn a copy and send it?

[QUOTE=Thomas Pleiner;618676]
• the model is no longer available commercially; Areva in Erlangen gave notice in 2016 that the model was sold out completely. Personally I've got a handfuf copies left for reference purposes. BUT having sold 5,000 copies of this model means also that 5,000 DVDs were sold too - and this DVD contains both versions of the model, the 1/350 and the 1/800 ... as PDFs layed out on A4 an Letter formats No way it would be possible to pry a copy out of you, or perhaps a cd burn? |

The copies were not sold with the CD.
I bought two, and they did not come with CD's. I think CD's were supplied as an alternative to the model?

.... may I take the opportunity to explain that? In 2004 we had a fixed date to have the kit ready for publication ... the kit was ready in time - the CD not! To cope with that inconvenience, the first kits were accompanied by a postcard, with which you could request the CD for free. As far as I can remember, the first 1.000 kits did not contain the CD.
Now what to do? Obviously you cannot send this postcard after 14 years to Areva to get this CD. I still have just a few CDs left from the production of 2004. I could consider separating myself from 5 CD. Of course I will not sell them - but a postage compensation would be welcome. Please clarify the details with me by private message. Cheers Thomas |

@ Thomas - I guess so
A little break to take care of something easy: the main roof. It still has tabs all around but I’ll probably cut them, as the roof will be detachable to see the inside. The third picture shows something that fits below the main floor. |

The pictures show some big elements of the steam system. The smaller pipes are simply printed. For the others, the kit includes a set of parts to make 3D pipes. I’ll get there…
