Wow, what a detailed model, on such a small scale! Very interesting to note that the instructions also provide a time reference. Never seen this before. No doubt that in your hands the end-result will be breathtaking Ricardo!

@ Erik - I never saw a time reference on the instructions before, either!
The first picture shows the demineralized water tanks. The others show 3D pipes that link the turbine building to the transformers. So, I guess that they do not convey water… |

The reactor building is a huge cylinder. The kit includes card reinforcements and I added a few more. The idea is to make the inside fully detachable, as the assembly shown today will be fixed to the base plate. |

Coming along quite well.
Maybe those pipes from the turbine building to the transformers are lead lined so the radioactive electrons won't contaminate the area before they are transformed into safer electricity. I know people who believe that kind of stuff.

Thanks for the comments
The reactor building cover has many parts, in order to get a realist cross section. Many tabs, too. As the angle between consecutive sections is small, it is not necessary to dent the tabs. |

Nicely done on the reactor building cover there Ricardo. Looks very good!

The assemblies shown before model the confinement wall and cover. The “real” reactor buildings and equipment are inside and have their own structures. Today’s pictures show the inner wall above the main floor. The top serves to support the rotating rolling crane. |
