Interesting - and definitely a new one to me.
Could they have been a huge as in the picture, or is this "artists licence"?

If you google "Kellogg's modern homes kits" there's quite a bit of info out there.
Issued in 1947 - 48 they are quite rare now. Mind you, looking at the prices achieved on some auctions, I think y'all just might rapidly lose interest.

Yes, I saw that advertisement too, while looking for the English Village. I haven't seen any plans for the houses though.
Although with my arch/drafting skills making new ones from the isometric views shouldn't be too hard. Better yet go find the real houses down the block in my neighborhood and take actual measurements. Anyways onto my posting after looking at the far superior work of my fellow club members. |

School
Didn't expect it to be a one room school but it works. I'd like to think that
the school expanded with more buildings in the post WWII "baby boom". After goofing up the portico/entry roof twice, here is the end result with enhancements. Trees=Fiddler's Green. Figures are scaled down/modified "X-wing" pilots from our member Busarama. "Snap,Krackle, & Pop" now added to the collection in the "biscuit tin" may ave' to get another soon as this one's getting full. Jeff |

Yeah,
I picked those up yesterday, Suburban is missing garage door and front door wall, can use existing parts to fashion new parts. These 1/4" scale houses would go together with my older brother's "American Flyer" train. Mr. Blandings is still a great movie as is the Tom Hanks Shelly Long "The Money Pit". |

Wad Cutter,
I think most of us are web browsing, clicking on an image to get a larger picture on our monitors. Then using the right button on our mouses to "Save Image". Choose a folder you want to save it into and then you have the image. You can do that here on people's threads/posts also. Jeff |
