Castle BÄRENFELS - 1:200 - Schreiber

Hello

My next project is the castle Bärenfels of Schreiber. It is a hand drawn bow with a lot of charm.

Divided into three arches, you will find 45 parts. Except reinforcements I will make this time no supernatures, just build from the bow.

The base plate, I first glued on 3mm chipboard.

Best regards
Kurt

Very good choice. I built that a few years ago.

All of the wall angles on part 7 are not 90°. I tried to make them all 90° before I realized that.

You need to remember to put the courtyard insert part 24 in before closing up the bottom.

Have fun in building it. The end result looks real good.

Hello SCEtoAUX ,

thank for the tip !

Welcome noble builders

Now let's go to action ...

The parts of the castle are reinforced with 0.9 mm Finn cardboard. The larger roof reinforcements are glued in after assembly.

Assemble parts 1 + 1a ... and attach bay 2.

The first part of the building is finished with the side bay window and the two chimneys.

Best regards
Kurt

Hello everybody

Tower 20 with roof ... connected to the main house.

Now close the gap. I reinforce the access ramp with 0.8 mm cardboard and glue it to the castle.

Best regards
Kurt

Something I did to that ramp is to try and camouflage the dashed line.

Ramp with dashed line:

I used some pastel chalk to hide the dashed line:

Hi SCEtoAUX ,

I also make These

final
Hello friends of the castles

now it goes to the finish straight .................. ..

Now stick the whole castle on the reinforced base plate, it lacks the last four parts to complete.

The fit of this model is just great, it's really fun to build the castle. I can only recommend this craft sheet !!

Thanks for the attention and kind regards
Kurt
