Celadna Castle - Z-art Models - 1:160

Hello

As a second project next to the Conti Belgica, I will build the Czech Castle Celadna.
After the ruin Trosky this will be the second model of the z-type model editor.
On 11 sheets 115 parts are distributed. The print is clean, the colors very nice.

In addition to the Czech construction manual, there are two photos with part numbers. There is also a translation in English, as well as a bow with five different pieces of the castle designs. Since the windows are all staggered there is not much to refine, but I will make the grounds of the castle according to my ideas.

With joyful expectation I will tackle this project.

regards
Kurt

You originally inspired me to purchase Trosky Castle. Now it looks as if you're going to inspire me once again. I eagerly await your build.

Another one of those neat looking Czech castles. There must be hundreds of them scattered throughout that part of Europe.
It would be nice to have a model of a reconstructed Poenari Castle, maybe with a few hundred impaling stakes to fill out the scenery.

Hello ,

I am delighted if I can persuade you to build, so let's start

We start with part 1. The spaces between the logs I scratch with an empty pen to a bit 3 D to reach.
The wall seems to me to be too clean, so I dull this with gray and brown tones of water paint with sponge.

Furthermore, the wall segments and window openings on 1 mm cardboard copy.
Gate 14 before scoring ... and glue.

Best regards
Kurt

Good work - the artwork you are doing will be well worth the effort

I like the idea of dirtying down the artwork, to make it look more natural.

I like your idea and way of weathering, and to bring out the bricks. Will be a lot of work though! Good luck Kurt - Viel Erfolg!

Hello !

Eight windows prepared ... and glued on the back.
Thus, the windows are moved back nicely ... now install the reinforcements
Part 2 is treated as well

Best regards
Kurt

and continue with the castle construction,

Reinforce part 3 ... and glue on top of part 1

Parts 5 to 8 make up the roof for part 1 ... which is again reinforced with 1mm cardboard
The installation of the roof was a bit complicated

Best regards
Kurt

And continue on the castle construction site ...

Prepare roof section 8 - 9 ... and connect with roof 6/7, this was no easy task.
Continue with the fireplace ... so the main tower is ready

Best regards
Kurt
