Paper Museum's Sushi Restaurant
Hi all,
I wanted to share my most recent build, the Sushi Restaurant by Paper Museum. You can visit them at www.paperm.jp You can download this, and other "dollhouses" by clicking on the first link on the left hand side, the button has a window with a sunshade over it. The kit consists of 16 A4 sized pages, and the instruction manual is 3 pages(you repeat a few of the pieces a couple of times). The scale of the kit is 1:12, probably, give or take.... This is the same scale as Philip's excellently executed Fish Monger stall I printed the kit on my Epson Workforce WF-7610, using Deriita Deleter B4 comic book paper, when I bought the paper, I was a bit too quick, thought I had pressed on the A4 size, not the B4 size, but it was a lucky mistake, I didn't have to trim the paper to fit my printer. The first set of pictures show the main parts being build, and the final set of pictures show what the complete restaurant looks like. Picture #4 shows the counter being held by tweezers in order for the bar/eating surface to be glued to it. Picture #7 shows a magnified close up of two of the boards, I was testing the Magnifier app on my cell phone. Picture #10 was taken when one of my friends asked to see one of the completed pieces. Pictures #11-13 show the restaurant completed, with everything on display. For those attending the IPMC this October, where the theme is "Something Fishy", the model will be on display, along with others I have made. I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed building the model. Rick

Rick:
The URL to the Paper Museum does not work. I don't know why but might guess a missing letter somewhere. TomW Quote:

Thanks everyone for the comments
I told my dad some of your comments, and he is still like, how in the world with your "Coal Shovels" do you manage those small parts?(i cleaned up the quote for family viewing) I am scoring some of the other kits from Paper Museum that I have downloaded and printed, so you might see something new in the near future. Fabulous Work! I wonder if there's a Ramen shop 'dollhouse' around somewhere?
