The tower’s second (in the model) floor has very fine printed detail, including the “A Mighty Fortress Is Our God" (German: "Ein feste Burg ist unser Gott") just below the top.

Looking very good Ricardo. Germany is full of castles, fortresses and churches so there's still a lot of building work for you to complete after the Wittenberg!

The roof has, yet again, very fine printed detail. The paper formers inside are very fragile. I stabilized them with card triangles. They are plainly visible in the first picture.

The first picture shows a part that clearly takes time and patience to cut properly. I added some card formers to help get the correct shape in the pinnacle over the roof.

Beautiful! Seems like you're almost done. Another nice build would be "Villa Braun", I saw this one once at an exhibition and couldn't resist buying a copy. Still need to make a start, one day...

@ Erik - thanks I built a copy of Vill Braun in 2003. It was one of my early choices of Schreiber kits. Fine kit, indeed. The parts for the recessed windows and doors require work that is not usual with Schreiber but is definitely worthwhile!

Back to the tower, with an assembly just below the top.

The dome construction was not to my taste and I felt it better to make some changes. The main part has 8 petals and the angled edges between them are to be covered with other parts. Gluing a flat part over an angle means that a gap develops on both sides. There is a picture in the instructions that shows the problem quite well. The idea was to get 16 petals by removing the sides of the original 8 and grouping them on new (slim) petals. The new petals were doubled, in the back, with parts that have tabs to glue on the larger petals.
I hope that the first 2 pictures help to understand the change which, in my view, was an improvement.

That's looking very good - a clever idea for the dome.

As you have made Villa Braun ( it's on I am modelist) and many of us like to "make the series") - How about the other Luther church? I guess you have the kit - if not - go to Martin Luther’s church in Wittenberg, Germany
