@ SCEtoAUX - Is is common to find tab emplacements that suggest assembly methods very far from my particular taste. Well, we are free to make changes and if the changes I made fit your taste, great

@ Erik - I'd bet you would do the same Risk reduction is part of the business, both on paper models and on the "real life"

The cathedral is almost left/right symmetrical. An exception appears in the attached pictures.

Assembling the rear roof by the sequence shown in the pictures was somewhat risky. I opted for this sequence to ensure that the rear buttresses were aligned with the roof holes for the flying buttresses. If needed, the corrections would be done on the intermediate roof sections. It went well, proving that the parts were very well designed.

Hallo Ric,

Mr Pomorski should change the pics on his site for yours. The colours seem to be more vivid here too. This cathedral is more than perfect. But the transparencies make it just fabulous.

Hello Kriszme - the transparencies are a big "plus" on this model, as it was properly designed to use them. I'm not so convinced about the window frames, as they are unpainted and look too flat. However, as the color match the yellow brick quite well, I used them. It will be different in Wroclaw...
@ Erik - Thanks

The main entrances are at a higher elevation. I used a lot of card bits to ensure that the outside platforms keep horizontal and at the correct level. As the GPM paper is very thick, I eliminated most of the tabs.

Thanks, Fred

At this point, the roof is far from rigid. This is not bad, as it helps to put the spike in place. The yellow ball is made of rolled paper.

The last construction pictures show the tower assembly. The use of extra card parts to fix some shapes is clearly apparent on some pictures.

Hello Ricardo,

nice to see the proresses you've made with Lodz Cathedal. Congratulations!
Personally I have here from GPM Wroclaw Cathedral and Kraków Cathedral and
I'm about to buy Lodz also... what I'm concerned about is the authenticity of
both the lasered tracery of the windows and the simulation of colored leaded glass ...
I think that in DAYLIGHT leaded glass windows doesn't show so much
bright color - when you look from the outside ... :-) What are your thoughts?
And the lasered tracery - does it match your expectations? ...

Cheers
Thomas
