Finished Lighting
And some more photos from the model.
Since the lighting still shines through the rock, I will thicken it and get some more detail to it. I am not too sad that the light shines a bit more through the corners and roof cooentions, since I regard it as external illumination. |

Rocks
For more realistic looking rocks I looked for some rock textures and printed them out on a sheet. Then I scrunched them and folded them out again. After this I tore the sheet into different parts and glued the new stripes on the original rock prints.
When that was done I added bushes trees and hedges to the castle. |

Hedges
All three parts of the castle are thus finished.
I'll wait for better weather now to finish the still blank base with some gravel. |

The finished model
I finished the model and used the sun outside to rush out and take some photos of the finished model.
I dusted the blank surfaces and the green terraces with fine bedding gras from model train material. I hope you liked the report and model and will soon come with another one... |
