Helter Skelter

A few weeks ago I visited the Mondorfer site and found a new kit by the Kallboys.

I decided I had to make it to join their other fairground rides. As usual I printed two of their PDFs to one of mine which give a scale of about 1:60 and a height of 22CM

Like all of their kits the fit of the parts is excellent. However, this time there are a lot of small parts like the supports for the slide. There is also a lot of laminating for the slide and cutting for the hand rails. So it's a bit fiddly but the finished model gives me a smile.

Truly delightful. Do we get to see the full Kallboys fairground in the near future?

What an unusual design!

What site did you download this from?

Someone should build this lifesize. Fun looking contraption and great build by you. I enjoyed seeing it. Slides we're the best when I was a kid.

Very nice Mike. A few days ago I too decided that I wanted something colourful to work on, so printed this off, though in my case at half-scale, four pages to an A4 sheet. At the moment I am struggling a bit with the slide, but will persevere...

Thanks for your comments.

All the other fairground models are on the forum - somewhere.
Here's the web site Mondorfer Bastelbogen
Helter Skelters are a common sight at most fairgrounds and many playgrounds in the UK - perhaps you need a holiday ;-)))
4 to 1 PDF is pushing your luck! I agree with you about the slide I gave up looking at the instructions but made sure the outer and inner sides where in the right place. You will have to shave the sides when you get to the top.

Cheers
Mike

WOW!! Great model!!
I clicked the link to the Mondorfer Bastelbogen website. Really great models, some simpler, others more detailed or challenging.
