I can tell you are enjoying this.

When you have finished, you can build another for a friend!

Hi Kevin ,

yes I enjoying this , but only one

But now at the end of the construction report ...

Now the two pointed roofs, where the lower parts are glued individually ... so now all parts of the bow are installed

A worn-out brush is sawn ... dyed and placed in front of the driveway

Finally, the tower flags

Thus, after 12 days of craftsmanship and 26 hours of construction, the water gate of Sneek is ready.

A partially difficult to build model with many shortcomings, but the beautiful graphics outweigh the end result.

Despite various problems, I enjoyed building the model

Thank you to all the fellow for support and kind regards

Kurt

Well, after all the issues and effort, I would say it is worth it as it is a pretty nice looking model!

A great job Kurt and thanks for sharing the build - and all the issues, - which made the thread really interesting.

Phew! Thank goodness you got to the end of that, Kurt. It brought back memories of trying to build the Watergate's sister model, the Cornmarket Gate in Kampen. It didn't start off too badly but it soon became apparent that the design was made on a wing and a prayer: and yes, it did end up in the bin. You have to be wary of the older LS kits. A shame because some of the newer and not-quite-so-old models are classics (as Erik has demonstrated in his St Bravo thread).

You seem to have an unquenchable determination. I take my hat off to you.

Great result!

I have built this model myself and I remember it was a difficult job to complete.
More difficult then you think it is when you start with it...
