My own open air museum

In recent years there seems to have been an increase in the number of the above - either museums or villages.Merry Hill from minibox being my most recent.

A while ago I decided to return to my earlier interest - The ABC magazine buildings. While checking my kits I found that I had quite a few farm houses so I decided to make as many as possible before I got too bored. Together they make quite an interesting museum of their own. Although they take up too much space to lay out a proper museum base.

The kits came from those published in book form, those published in the older ABC magazines and some from the big " Richard V's collections" books.

Cheers
Mike

Very nice collection, Mike. Some I recognise and some I don't.

That is an interesting looking bunch of buildings. They will make a nice display once you figure out how to group them.

They are beautiful little houses. They look like fun to build. Good job as usual.

Thanks David.

I'm not sure yet. my car is a bit small so I don't have much space.

Following the completion of Electra ( see under figurines) I was thinking of taking my small army of figures

Thomas,

Sorry for the delay in answering your question.....

I'm not planning to make any more in the near future - I have a few left, but I prefer a bit of variety. I worked out that provided I don't buy/download any more kits, at my current build rate I will run out of kits by the time I'm 120 years old - not sure what I'll do after that ;-)

Currently I'm making a kit I bought recently - Wroclaw Town hall just a little different from a Czech farmhouse.

cheers
Mike
