Wroclaw Townhall

This is a relatively new kit from WAK in Poland. The building is 1:200 scale and has an unusual building method. The whole of the ground floor in made of templates then the walls are added - similar to GPM's wawel castle.
I chose the kit because of the colourful architecture and the kit did not spoil my hopes.

However, the rest of the building process did. Thankfully the parts fit together well, but there were a whole load of minor niggles -some part numbers were wrong and despite clear drawings some parts were not mentioned. There are a few words in English but they don't help - there are pages of templates which need reinforcing but the thickness of the card is not mentioned. The drawings don't really follow the numerical order of the parts. There are a few other minor issues but overall, the completed model gives me a lot of pleasure.

The base is 12 X 10 inches and the building is 12 inches tall.

Cheers
Mike

Nice model. Sorry to hear about the difficulties, but at least they kept you off the streets.

Great "cabin". The leftward windows on the first picture don't seem to be exactly in their places. Otherwise very neat!
