Wonderful! Can't think of any other word to describe the level of detail of this model and the perfect way you assemble it...

Thanks, Erik

The second and third pictures show another case where I used both the original parts and the detail set. The laser cut black part has the numbers engraved but they are almost invisible. Well, they are invisible on the low resolution picture!
The last two pictures show other detail, including the forward and aft crosses. They are laser cut and so thin that cutting them by hand would be far beyond my limits. It was not very wise to glue them so early. I’ll have to be very careful from now on…

The assembly number 5 consists on the left section of the cathedral. I would almost bet that annexes and chapels were added to the original building. The last picture shows buttresses that got almost completely hidden.
I opted to glue this section early to the center section, as the interface gets far too complex when adding the buttresses and other details.

That's almost the case, David

The first pictures show the method used to assemble the flying buttresses. I swapped the gluing tabs for card bits, suitably placed and shaped to ease the assembly and prevent distortion.
The last pictures show a lovely chapel, squeezed between a couple of buttresses.

If all the assemblies were as simple as the ones shown today, the kit wouldn’t last long on my workbench…

The right section may have similarities to the left section, shown before, but all the detail is different. Needless to say, this is good for the modeler that doesn’t really enjoy repetitive tasks.

The pictures show the remaining detail of the cathedral’s right section. The white area will be covered by a beautiful chapel that comes next.

The kit includes several annexes that are detailed enough to make stand-alone models! Three of them conform to this style of pink and white walls. In this case, the window frames provided in the detail set are undoubtedly a “plus”: they add detail and depth.
