Abandoned Garage — Designed and Scratch Built
Well, I'm sorry that I don't have any pictures of the "during" but here are some pictures of the "after."
I was inspired by this model: PAPERMAU: The Generic Garage Paper Model - by Papermau - Download Now! but as a sad and lonely perfectionist, I wanted high res textures for that added touch of realism. After scouring the internets for the right textures, photoshopping them in just the right way, and much trial and error (plus a complete do-over) I finally finished this model a few months back. I had almost as much fun taking the photos as I did building the model! Tho, taking photos of it, I really see the rough edges on almost everything and the warping that has occurred on the paper. Still, I'm good n' proud of what I created. A few more images at the link here: https://imgur.com/Ja9LN4N |

Looks very good. Those old abandoned buildings warp by themselves so that is a bit of extra realism.
Needs some cats.

That's right!
Also a great excuse for general imperfections. |
