Taj Mahal (Epson)

Despite its small size, this is not a simple model.
It has many small parts, and you need to be careful in the order of assembly.

I had to build the dome twice because the first time the upper part didn't fit to the round base.
I found it was much better to glue each petal to the round base, and then glue each petal to the previous one.

That's the only way the "onion" shape can be achieved

Size: The square base is just over 19cm (7.5 in) each side. Height is 13cm (5 in).
Scale:With that size the scale is about 1:560 if printed at its original intended size in A4 paper.

For some reason it is not available in the Japanese or European sites, and seems it is exclusive to the Australian Epson website.

For those interested in this iconic building, Canon has another Taj Mahal: https://creativepark.canon/en/conten...512/index.html
with a different artwork, and a different way of assembly, but apparently the size is similar to the Epson one.

This are my photos of the Epson kit:

By far, the best build of this model that I have seen.

A friend of mine went on a mission trip to India and I thought of building this for her, but when I looked over the file and viewed build photos, I decided against it

You did a very good job with it
