Museum of urban planning in Shanghai
Hello friends,

They are not very far off.I don't think they left any of the old buildings.Than again 1939-49 wars didn't lave many standing.
Must be nice not to have eco taxes strangling your economy. |

I'm far away from any political statement. But I'm not familiar with English, so I'm not shure understanding you well. Shanghai were growing with an dramatic speed since the 19'th century, in nowadays it has 24 millions inhabitants. It was growing horizontal and of course in height and you are right only a few districts of the town were left from the older times (often parks or gardens) or even rebuild and that is also true: it is a kind of touristic national traditions.
