Haunted House
It has been over six weeks since I last posted. I did finish this model over a month ago but never got around to posting it. The second floor shows the entrance to the nursery which is above the parlor. That room, which contains several children and toys, is closed off except for the door. Also on thid floor is the master bedroom and the shower. When you pull on a small tab under the floor, a monster appears from under the bed. The attic has a number of activities going on with ghost and skeletons. These activities can only be seen by looking through holes in the roof. The top floor of the attic contains another mad scientist working on a Dracula like figure who raises up when the floor tab is pulled.
In May,Vermin King posted on this blog, a link to more about the haunted house model which contained the model of the mausoleum with a horse and hearse delivering a body. This can be seen in the second photo. This was a fun model to make and was quite a diversion from the cathedrals that I usually make. You can find this model on the Dover website. How did I miss this before now?!?!? A delightful model indeed, full of deliciously gruesome details.

You did a great job on this one, Thomas! Hope I get to see it in the flesh (or the paper or the ectoplasm).
