Small church of St. Barbory -1:160 - SVAP

Hello

The next in between model I will build the small church of St. Barbory from SVAP Verlag.

There are 21 parts to install on two A4 sheets, the texture is simple but very appealing, I like it very much

Best regards

Kurt

Hello

I know this line of paper kit that has some other little churches and chapels

I also have built a little model of St. Anna Chapel, during this lock-down period, between two more large paper ship model buildings...

This was my very first experience with an architectural model, and honestly I was intrigued from this branch of paper-model... totally different from ships but equally interesting.

Here just a pic of this my first church model.

Happy paper modeling and ... stay safe !!

Jp

Hi Jp ,

your model looks very nice

Glue the base plate to 1.5 mm Finn cardboard ... Part 1 reinforced and window and door installed ...

... glued to the base plate ... Part 2 is stuck with four windows behind

Sincerely

Kurt

First long side glued ... then the second long side and rounding, only now glue in the reinforcements

Part 3 ... attach to the side

Sincerely

Kurt

Very nice. It appears that you used thin strips of cardboard applied after assembly, to reinforce the curved portion of wall.

reinforce part 4 ... and glue it to the walls

Prepare the roof ... Reinforcements glued ...

... so the roof has become very stable

Best regards

Now the completion

The roof can now be easily put on ... A strip is glued onto the tower ...

... and this on the ridge ... then the small roof

... with the cross, so the small church is finished after four days of handicraft, with six hours of construction.

A simple and straightforward model
Sincerely
Kurt
