Filming Paper model cityscape with T REX boroscope on a RED camera

Just finished shooting a paper model NYC set with an amazing camera/lens rig. I've posted pics and notes here:

Shooting with Raymond Flynn on a T Rex lens and RED camera obscure object

Some crazy shots were made possible.

cheers

Wow! Are there any pictures there taken through the lens? I couldn't find any, but I may have been looking in the wrong place.

Interesting stuff!
I'm a freelance set-builder/art-director myself...
I worked with a boroscope in the past, but never saw this thing
What's the story/ reason for this tabletop?
And please do post some images, I'm very curious :D

Hi Billy,
The story behind the set. I'm mainly a filmmaker, that's into modeling and paper models via art direction in movies ( remember any of the Brothers Quay animations?) . This little set was inspired by an illustration of NYC by an artist Bodie Chewning. I approached artist Amierinkz to help construction the set. ( all three of us are connected via "Methods NYC")

ORIGINALLY, this was to be the background set for a hip hop music video. They didn't like the set and I started not liking them, so the project crashed and burned. I had always intended to re-purpose the set, so I moved to plan B which is a 1 minute trailer for a web series of real people telling urban stories. We pop video of people telling crazy stories in the set, add a "cartooner" effects to the footage and voila "Sketch City". Just pitched it to peeps in LA. That's why I'm not posting any images or vids, until the deal goes through. Will post soon. promise
