Very nice work, Mr Pirling. I built Chartres Cathedral some years ago, so I know how mush effort is required. It was on display at a bookshop in London for some time in order to promote L'Instanr Durable kits, which they stocked. The bookshop moved and took the model with it. Don't know where it is now.

Before I scrolled down, I thought 'This is a mighty impressive build'. Evidently I wasn't the only one to think so.

Thanks for sharing

Nice one Adolf, like Philip, I've made quite a few ID cathedrals and appreciate the amount of work needed to make a kit as good as yours. I like it when all the flying buttresses line up so well !

The spires look unusual - it looks as if the tops "disappeared" a long time ago and were never replaces.

Cheers
Mike

The cathedral of Reims does not correspond
to the ideal type of a cathedral.
The towers were always stumps.*

Sweet! I just finishS-B Notre Dame and am just beginning IDs MSM, again. This will be my 3 try for that model. I've always had trouble with IDs lack of instructions or useful images.

This is absolutely stunning! Looks fantastic photographed outside too.
I'm super impressed. I've pre cut all parts for my one, but until I finish the current project, I'll just have to admire your one.
