Rather than make seperate threads, will show all my self-designed buildings in one place:


Here is my latest, a 1/148 barn in a somewhat North European style. It's inspired by rural buildings I saw on a long cycle journey during August. Basic design of the walls and roof done in Inkscape, with some modification in the process. Particularly pleased with my first ever attempt at replicating thatch, it's simply slashed mount board painted with a wash of raw umber.
