The Godzilla Apartments

This building was originally a part of the set of few damaged tall buildings and few undamaged ones designed to make a diorama for the Godzilla action figure. So I called it Godzilla Apartments / Godzilla Center. The meaning of the "Godzilla" as an adjective in Japanese is the same as "Mammoth" in American English: "very big".

Slightly modified and scaled down this little skyscraper will make a perfect background building for Nekomura diorama. More signboards, electrical equipment and so on could be added later if needed. The only non-paper item is a bird net above the exhaust ventilators on the roof.

If I counted correctly, this building is my 50th architectural model in 1/300 scale for Nekomura posted here.
However still at least 250 more are to be made. 2022 will be a busy year!

Happy New Year to everyone!

The police station

The next one "small tall building" is a Nekomura Central Police Station office, adapted from TGW-series 1/150 model, together with few police cars.

I like your Gojiraapāto.

I once lived in a similar building, but it was in Seoul, Korea.

You never cease to amaze me, dear Don!

And there is the second building of the Godzilla complex. This time I added much more parts, including the roof equipment, entrance to the underground car park and a lot of vending machines, ATM etc.

One more single family residential

On the Wayback Machine homepage there are few simple free paper models for children and one more complicated model of a single family house, all called "Homework" No. 1. to 8. or so. The model was scaled down to 1/300 and supplemented with the small terrace with a tropical plant in the pot.

FujiPharma version 2

Soon after completing this office tall building (based on one of the Akihabara diorama buildings, rescaled, altered and marked as FujiPharma offices and laboratories), I realized that I scaled it down too much, getting as a result the scale coefficient nearer to 1/450 than 1/300. So, the building was made once again and supplemented with few more parts.

JNTO offices and small hotel

For the next tall building model I modified the same basic drawing of the Shōwa period concrete tall building which I used earlier to make the police station. The building comprises the local offices of the famous Japan National Tourism Organisation and few rental apartments for the guests.
