Silver Rose Studio Cape Hatteras Light

Mr Schenfeld was kind enough to send me the Cape Hatteras Light model. Reading over the instructions seem through. I printed the model up in 110 lb cardstock as recommended. Got a late start as I got caught up in the Astros game.

Got the stairs done and the first base level.

It's coming along very well. A nice, neat job. An important tip worth noting when rolling a cylinder, is not to score the glue tab or the cylinder becomes teardrop shaped in cross section. I made that common error on my first paper model, the castle Lichtenstein. Years later I repurchased the model and built it again with a much better result. I'm looking forward to following along with your continued progress.

I am enjoying these stage-by-stage images of your model of this historic lighthouse.

Excellent artisanship!

Rock Paper Scissors, thanks for the tip! I scored it and did what you said! Lesson learned for the next one! I should of know as the lighthouses from fiddlersgreen have the tab already and says not to score! It should of registered, but didn’t!
