Had to take a few days off because I wasn't feeling so well, had a mild fever, but today I'm feeling way better(I took the needed med), so I could advance into the building:
1. Joined the front structure to piece 5-1; 2. Added pieces 6-6, 6-8, 6-10, 6-11 to the back of 5-1 and glued the entire thing onto the base and walls; 3. Built the left side of the structure; 4. Built the right side of the structure; 5. Placed the last pieces of the structure. Next I'll start building the second level. Cheers, Gregory |

Here's the progress I made since my last post:
1: Built the second level floor, alongside all the pieces that goes under itself, and placed all the columms of the kit and the cover piece for the middle columms. 2: Started building the structure that will support the roof; Next, I will build the covers for the remaining columms and will join 1 and 2 togheter; Cheers, Gregory. |

After a lot of issues, I managed to complete the model, but to be honest, I didn't like the result of the front columms, because they are the only ones that are not glued to the roof piece, they even don't have tabs on the top, so they end not staying straight. Even the roof, wich I though I wouldn't be able to glue it correctly, the final result was better than the columms. Overall, this wasn't one of my best results, even the Potala Palace model I did was better in terms of look and execution.
Cheers, Gregory. |

Nice building, it was quite complex with that front structure.

Still looks nice, even with the difficulties you mentioned.

Don't be hard on yourself. It was quite a challenge you took on and, it looks good.
