I feel deeply honored that you assemble Cologne Cathedral - a cardmodel I've designed 35 years ago ... in 1987 there were absolutely NO digital instruments, so anything was manually handdrawn ... inspite the complexity of the whole model the assembly is straight forward ... good luck for the progress ... Thanks! Thomas, great to hear from you! It's a beautifully designed model that has stood the test of time.
I'm starting to build the towers. They look a lot more slender at first before all the buttresses are added.

The real thing took about 600 years to build so scale wise you have two years time frame. Build is looking good and the model is great (I've seen it but knew I don't have space for it).

Oh, but then I'd have to leave it half finished for quite a while with a medieval crane on it. I'm just gonna go right ahead with the towers!
