That's quite a nice subject Missy... It's a Sears Mansion isn't it ??

I'm English not American, but I have a great fondness for US History as well. I was always fascinated by the idea that you could, at one time, order a house from the Sears Roebuck Catalog and it'd arrive in pre-fabricated pieces on the train. All ready to be nailed and bolted together. A bit like a giant paper kit.

Best Regards,
Julian (Fozzy The Bear)

IKEA is selling BLOKLOK prefabs in Europe now - they are supposed to be extremely green (environmentally speaking)

I think this is one of the Haunted Mansions Series. Very nice models. You did a nice job on this for your first build. You should be happy with it. I started one of the others (memory failing me) but never finished it. I go hung up making the railings. I printed them on clear film for a better effect but then had fits getting it to work. I might take up the challenge again. I highly recommend thse models though.

You can find them free at Haunted Dimensions by Ray Keim

It is always a victory to finish a model. Remember what you learn and the next will be better.

I believe the prototype is the Haunted Mansion in Disneyland in Anaheim California.
