Talking Buildings, buildings and more buildings

I can't figure out how to get decent pictures up on a thread with an upper limit of 120 KB or so, so the best I can do is a link to my thread on kartonbau.de:

http://www.kartonbau.de/wbb2/thread.php?threadid=14085

I hope this works. Just trying to make a contribution, for anyone with an interest in architecture.

Some of you may recognize Schreiber's Stephansdom, Koln Cathedral, Burg Eltz, Schloss Neuchwalkwberstein (I can never spell that thing), and Himeji. Instant Durable's Duomo from Florence, and the Hospice de Beaune (a nice little easy kit), and Chenonceau. Martinskirche, a cute little model by Bastellbogen. A strange little town, seeing them all at once.

Enjoy!

Dave

Those are nice looking. Looks like they were a lot of fun to build.

David,

That's a great collection of buildings - Like me I guess you have a storrage problem!

Do you know the Canon models? Their collection of buildings is getting better all the time. I just completed their Florence Duomo and I was mighty impressed with the result. It also has the benefit of being much smaller than the ID version.

Architecture - Paper Craft - Canon CREATIVE PARK

Here's their address if you don't have it.

Cheers
MikeS.

Beautiful buildings, and they make a wonderful diorama all together.

If you are short of space, don't even think about many of the big kits.

For one of my models I've had to build a box too keep it in

This is Betexa's Prague Castle and it's almost 6 feet long. I kept the model in two halves so I could get it in the car and store it more easily

To see this and more go to

MK2008

To make things worse I've just finished Instante Durable's Carcassone. It's not quite as big but still over 3 feet long.

Someone recently asked my how many buildings I had made. A quick count showed I have over 150 buildings ranging in size from the Instante Durable Postcards Chateaux to Prague castle ;-(
Cheers
