January 24th 2010 this thread was opened and today March 16th 2022 it comes to it's final moments. Little over 12 years it took (not active modeling though, just a long forgotten dusted build I discovered) and now I can call this model of Hrad Pernstejn (Pernstejn Castle) finished and complete. Here are the final pictures. Thanks for all watching this build completed and special thanks to Mike, Phillip and Kevin for kind comments during this final strech.

That is so fine, Tappi. Was it a labour if love?

It looks like the size of a small town.
Well worth finishing.
Nice work Tappi.

Astonishing work here. I'm always get jawdropped when I see any castle build here, as castles are one of my favorite subects to build (I'm even running out of display space here in my house because of how much models I've been bulding lately). Congrats on finshing an old project, because If I were in your shoes I'd probably scrap the project to the trash.

Cheers,
Gregory

It was and with a twist of remorse and atonement. I quote back the same poem:

Thanks Philip,

Mike and Gregory, Thanks to you both. These castles were like small towns or at least big 'enterprises'. My card modelling started with castles and it was good to visit modeling corner again. But the best feeling comes from the fact I finished what I once started. I have yet few threads that need same attention. ;-)
