Mike, it's absolutely stupendous! i feel like I could walk right into it and explore.
Can you give an idea of the base finished size. It really is wonderful. |

The wall on the river is 10 inches, The Red Square and entrance sides are both 11 Inches.
The only good thing is that it won't take up much space when it joins the others in my "storage facility"....AKA The loft ;-) Cheers Mike |

Bravo! and thanks for sharing some of the tribulations involved. It came out very well, and yes, I can see the crosses in the one shot with the dark background. Great work.

Paper modelling
Have recently started a series of Towers from the Kremlin. I know Rob likes "scales" so here goes. The towers are 1:250 and the company expects to make most of them over the next year or so.......... This means that if I make them all then set them out at a scale distance from each other, that will make a Kremlin with each of the three side about 10 feet long! I can't imagin how big the kit would be if they decided to make the churches on the same scale. Their latest cathedral is "only" 1:400. However the Church on the spilled blood is 1:200, which is getting close ...........Interesting as they said on Rowan and Martin's laugh in. Mike |
