Paris is loaded with paper models. Go to the gift shops at any historic building and you won't be disappointed. I been to Paris many times and each time I find something new.
Instant Durable's models are found at most of the tourist sites in Paris. Have fun Paris is a magnificent city. Peter |

I have found this thread to be most useful, as I will be in Paris soon attending and giving a paper at a military history conference. I will be on the qui vive for paper models at all the places we visit (Paris, Bayeux, the Normandy beaches, Mont St Michel, Caen, Harfleur, and Rouen).

Hi,
If I'm not too late, I suggest you take a sample French kit or kit of buildings with you in your baggage and then when you are trying to locate kits in France, you will have a sample to show at the shops you visit, then the shop keepers will know what you want, without you having to try and tell them in French or American. If I were you I would check in souvenir shops inside the most popular museums, like Louvre or Quay d'Orsay.
Good luck! Mauri

Thanks everyone, I managed to find a few papermodels (mainly L'Instant Durable I have to admit). I didnt find the large Chartres or Notre Dame models I really wanted, but managed to get hold of Sainte Chappelle, some die-cut kits and a few postcard models. Also got a small Sagrada Familia kit by Papeti.
