My first car was a '73 Valiant, but not the charger or duster type. It was the 4 door sedan with a slant 6.
I am seeing an improvment in your builds too.

slant 6/straight 6. an indestructible engine.
I had the 76 nova, and my roomate had the Valiant with the slant 6.
that was in 1986, and neither car ever failed to get us from a to b.

Well, I drove the #@$% out of my car and the transmission was starting to pay the price. That was 1987 for me.
I wish I had one of these cars still. I would have to say that for this plain Jane car that the following cliche applied..."Simplicity is the ulimate sophistication".
