Hello!
I would like to invite you to the report from designing of my new project. This time the British fighter from II W.W. Westland Whirlwind. About this aircraft you can read here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Westland_Whirlwind_(fighter)).

At the beginning traditional I start from designing of the fuselage.

Best regards.

Hello!
Thank you Friends! I am glad that you are interested of my project. :)

The vertical and horizontal rudders.

Best regards.

P.S.:So the report was not too boring I thought to myself that I would submit to you the song, which I listen to while designing. May I? Yes, yes, please, please! :D ;)
Ok, because I'm doing a British aircraft, on the beginning of British song: Lucretia (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IuezNswtRfo). I hope you will like it. Happy listening. :)

Seems your new project is getting a lot of interest :)

Are you modeling a version with that very nice 4 cannons in the nose ?

I like a lot this picture:

I donīt think that the Whirlwind rimes well with Sisters of Mercy (that I like), I would go more for something like Five Years, from Bowie. :)

Hello!
Alcides: Thank you! Yes, it will be 4 cannons and this painting: "Dieppe raid", August 1942 (http://modelingmadness.com/reviews/allies/gb/cleaverwhirl.htm)
Blackronin: very nice song of David Bowie, but he will always associate me with this song: Let's Dance (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OyVjdQXNs9s)

First try on the cabin and wings. I hope, will not be major problems.
And after work... R+ (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qydHfYC0duc) ;)

Best regards.

Hello!
Alcides: Thank you. :) Strips... no, no... they will be made from one element (something like the Mitsubishi 1mt) and they will be stuck on the inner sides of the fuselage, but for the presentation and then to the instructions I had it done as a 3D.
doctormax: thank you. :)

Today, a few trinkets, which I did on the right side and slightly changed the floor.

BTW... :) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k2xUMiUrCs8)

Do you use actual cockpit drawings or a generic layout?

Cheers JTF

Looks interesting , too bad you can't make several liveries.
Personally I'm waiting some older projects.... do I sound annoying? Sorry.

Cześć Krzychu74, the details of this cockpit should be allright in 1/33 too,
but in 1/50 will be looks awesome in paper. I like a lot this and Your other projects.

Happy disigning!

Hello!
JT Fox: I use drawings from monograph of Whilwind from 4+ publication
Dragos: I`ll make one paint scheme, but I already talked with one colleague who would do other paint (I hope) when this model will be ready. :)

Hehe, I see that you never surrender. :D Maybe soon I will back to work on the Rafale (certainly after model No.10).
jjb89: witaj jjb89, I don`t like 1/33 scale. I think in 1/50 scale also can be done very detailed models and take up less space on the shelf than 1/33. ;)

Best regards.

1:50 is an interesting scale : not too big but not too small. Krzychu's models looks kinda detailed and as I know he works with vector format so the models can be rescaled without loosing the quality.
