Out of Memory in Pepakura

Got myself a nice new windows 7 machine, 500GB HD, 2.something GHZ 64bit Processor and 4 GB of Ram, and Pepakura keeps throwing an out of memory error at me after about 10 min of use. any help/advice?

thats odd... what anti virus are you using? try an uninstall/reinstall in case it wacked out somewhere.

Windows takes nearly half of the RAM. If Pepakura save in memory many steps and you are using many high res textures, then it could happen.

Try to tweak both if you can.

Definitely not a virus issue. I also don't apply my textures until after unfolding is done, because Pepa is too grainy. I'm wondering if I just have too many verticies or something stupid like that, but even when I just open up a small part of the model (i.e. a seat or a single wing) I still error out.

You could try increasing your "virtual" memory (just to clarify is different from actual RAM).

4GB should be enough...

Look into Task Manager and check CPU and RAM used by each process.
