Russell Webb fire rebuilding fund (Amazyah)

Hello,
Some of you may already know but Russell was the victim of arson and his house was completely burnt down. I would like to collect donations for Russell to assist with the rebuilding. I will take donations via paypal. If you wish to donate in any other way like cash or check let me know and I will give you my mailing address. I plan on taking donations though the end of April.

Also thanks to some people making some extra donations this is now a raffle!

Jason has donated 2 $20 and 1 $50 gift certificates to the Hobby Factory. It has taken me a while to reply, Russell and I had a falling out and do not communicate any longer, but I still care about him. This is terrible news! I hope he and his Wife were not hurt.
Did he have fire insurance?
Anyway, please offer him my condolences.

Yes Phil, of course I will. No one was hurt thankfully and much of his cardmodel collection was in an out building so made it through safely. My cotnact with him is rather sketchy as he only seems to have access to the net when he goes to visit his daughter. He sent me his cell phone number once upon a time but I cant locate it so thats out.... He had mentioned in the past that others in the area were victims of Arson so hopefully he had insurance.

Thanks for asking. I have not been able to get ahold of him. I did however find a phone number for him on the net and I call it and it just rings and rings (only done so twice) I am gonna give a try this weekend and if I cant reach him I will be calling the local PD to see if they can give me any info. If not, I will just snail mail his old address and see where it ends up.

Its a done deal! I managed to get a hold of Russell and got the donations sent off. Everything is going as well as can be expected. The house will be replaced thanks to insurance and his card models (prized possesion) :) were stored in an out building. The donations will be a big help for the short term expenses and getting over the first humps of rebuilding.




He wanted me to let anyone know that is due any models from purchases will be sent out in the next couple weeks.

I finally got it.

Things have been pretty rough.
I still haven't even filed my taxes yet as all the paperwork is gone.
Needles to say, you don't even get the Economic Stimulous Package if you don't file.
Hopefully I shall have all the paperwork replaced soon.

I don't have a cell phone anymore.
I am going to try to get it replaced at the end of next week, after I get paid.
Hopefully I will still be able to have the same number.




I cried when I read your message.
Give everyone at Zealot (Chris Note: I let him know that you guys here were involved as well) my best and tell anyone waiting for models from me that I will be mailing everything out on Wed the 28th, with extras, for waiting on me.

Our house is being repaced and should be ready by the end of June.
Thank God for Insurance and that I still have my models! 8v)
I'm hoping to get a new computer when I get my taxes back but it will be a while as I am late filing.

I'll try to stay in better touch and check my mail more often.
