Would make a good base for a RC-ed version, imho.

Julius Perdana is one of my favorite designers. Very detailed beautiful models, easy modular assembly design (like another fav - Jan Rukr), good variety of models, and he kicks them out fast. Not to mention his very slick, professional layout. The cover pages look like something that should only be on a model you have to pay for. He also fixes any errors very quickly. Overall very impressive, never disappoints.

This is great. I still have Zecks ED-209 and will def build this one too.

Thanks for posting this.

Would be nice if it was in PDO format. But, I can understand some authors wanting to protect their work.

I now see the explanation that the model will be in three parts.

Yeah, it would seem that the poster (author) is going to update the post in due time, so check it regularly.

Dave

Jules has split the 59 page ED-209 into three releases so that the Paper Replika release remains pretty consistent, He has finished the entire model in 3D and is releasing each third of the model as he completes unfolding, texturing etc...

I have THIS ROBOCOP FIGURINE (http://www.spawn.com/toys/product.aspx?product=2228) . Which of the two ED-209 scales would best match this figurine ?

I am assuming the 1:6 scale should be used, but I just want to make sure.

That figure is reported as 6" tall
which makes it about 1/12 scale

(Although the info also states the overall height of the figure when on the base is 7.75"
...but that base is definitely NOT 1.75" tall...?"

Whatever...Robocop would have been closer to 6'6"-7'
so a 6" figure is more like 1/14

Nice, can't wait for the rest of it :)

Thanks airdave, so I should rather go for the 1:10 scale then.

Would have been nice if this model was released a PDO, then I could have scaled it easier. I don't have the know how , how to scale a PDF. So the 1:10 will have to do.

I am checking each day if I remember ...... :)

OH NO!

I can't resist, no, the download button, argh!

Sigh, yet another one hits the stash. LOL

Thanks for the heads up on that one. Should be interesting once all the other bits and bobs get added.

I think he had to put it on hold while working on an important commercial project. Got to pay the bills first.

Some people in Detroit think it would be cool to have a Robocop statue, so the went to Kickstarter, got the money, and now it's going to happen:

Gizmodo, the Gadget Guide (http://gizmodo.com/#!5763001/the-internet-just-bought-detroit-a-robocop-statue)

Jalopnik: Obsessed With The Cult Of Cars (http://jalopnik.com/#!5764491)

I love that the guy who gave the money owns Omni Consumer Products!

And I've started on ED. Here's a teaser; it's going to be HUGE!

Doh! Other models I was getting round to doing have now gone on the backburner.
I've got to make this one! All 59 pages of it!

This bad boy is huge!

Awesome!
