Hi!

Yeah, it's me agin... Its new build thread...again:D

Virtual look:

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm64/jjb89_bucket/b4n.jpg

This is a 'chillout model' from poor documentaion, made quite quickly - just I want have some with hinomaru on shelf:)
I have a metallic/pearl paper, nice looking but very crushing, hard to shape it fine.

And time for pics:

and start with interior:

Your build continues very well. I very interested in the way you designed the formers for the wings. It's different from the usual way to make formers for the wings.

Alcides, Why different? I think this is good when wings are folding(not in one piece) like this plane and warrant correct profile. Ask what You want know more:)

Your build continues great and I like a lot the paper colors.

About my question, sorry I my mistake. I really was talking about this pieces: 1 and 2, I haven't seen this a lot in airplanes but maybe I don't have seen so many models as I tought .

You don't have to cut in angle the edges to glue it to the formers ?

Alcides

Anyway I'm going to buy your model :)

02-22-2011, 02:28 PM
Hi Alcides!

This elements holding ribs in 90 deg angle to fuselage - it's very helpful in wing covering.
It's from two ply of card, has 0,4 -0,5 mm thickness so no need to cut in angle.
(if I undersatnd Your question correctly:))

Will be nice to see this model in Your perform!

One of two parts of engine cover:

arrrgggggghhh  instructions + covers ... I hate that part of design a model and I've done just one.

Jackek I love the landing gear, very good solution for the wheels covers. Are just 4 parts ?

5 parts, on the center is rectangular stripe.
I 'm glad for You like cover in this kind. Personaly I prefer that design, than cutting and folding edges.

Hi!

Yokosuka is ready, it should be available today.

I am quite happy with finish effect. This is my first biplane, first sculped prop too.
And this my biggest model, kit are in 9 pages. Cover, 3 pages with parts, 3 with instruction diagrams, one with sculped propeller tutorial (i learn this method here (http://modelarstworedukcyjne.pl) and just modifed it to papermodeling) one page with piece of carrier's deck for standing.
It will be different way to build, simple, medium, most detailed. For example You can use 2D flat engine, build main body and cylinders, or use all of parts.
Also some parts are marked green, You can use them, but can skip too, they not affect the construction.

Photos are in plenner, becouse my cat asleep in my tent shadeless and fall down with it as a desk... cat nothing has happened...:)

Ok, don't longer anymore, Final Gallery:
